    Wendy's Iyengar Yoga

    Firstly, I would like to say that Wendy’s Iyengar yoga classes will challenge you in every session that she teaches. Her precise instruction and guidance allows beginners, those attempting to get back into yoga, and more advanced practitioners to improve, understand and become more aware of their own body. I enjoy Wendy’s classes as I find them both challenging and informative. Her observation and correction of any misalignment is constantly given whilst allowing me to explore my own body by showing me the differences between the correct and incorrect alignment. Often reinforcing the notion of correct bone structural alignment to allow the practitioner to obtain the asana without undue stress and thus gain maximum benefit from the asana. Wendy carefully stretches each practitioner pushing us in the weekly practice, challenging us with an extensive range of asanas often using a variety of rope techniques and other equipment to encourage better postures and understanding of a technique. I feel that I achieve something from every class. So, if you are looking for an experienced yoga and Iyengar teacher I would invite you join Wendy’s classes. Her classes are small and personalised allowing you to hone in on your needs whilst demonstrating a better approach to how to move your body. ____________________________ There is an old Sufi saying which goes something like, However much you study you cannot know without action.     Wendy has a wealth of experience as an Iyengar Yoga teacher and continues to travel to India on an annual basis to continue her studies. She is a caring teacher having the ability to cater for all levels of student in each of her classes. The studio is light and airy with timber flooring and a great feel. She is also a fabulous massage therapist and I can highly recommend one of her Reflexology treatments.

    I love attending Yoga Rhythms events, classes, workshops, I have done them all. They are great Jo and Laura deliver professional workshops and training and also wonderful classes for all abilities. I practice a lot and my husband came to a class with me and he never does yoga and we both could find options that suited where we were at.
