In Level 1 Reiki we cover the basic teachings of Reiki and Self Healing. You will also get hands on experience so you walk away with the skills to perform Reiki Sessions on yourself and practice on family and friends if you choose to do so. Learn this beautiful healing modality to experience self healing, self growth, expand your intuition or facilitate healing for others. This workshop is made up of theory, meditation, hands on practice and attunements and is run over a weekend (Sat & Sun 10am-5pm) at my home in Healesville VIC. Small class sizes with maximum 4 students to allow plenty of time for practice, discussions and questions. There are no pre-requisites or special skills needed to attend this workshop. We are all natural healers and Reiki is something we all have the ability to tap into. Swara yoga is the ancient tantric science of systematic observation of your breath flow observation through the nostrils (known as swara) in relation to the current moon phase and time of day. It also entails understanding your nāḍī energy flows and the influence of the predominant flow on your behaviour and mind set. Observing and manipulating your swara breath flow enables you to understand yourself more deeply and assists you in achieving desired outcomes in various situations of life. What will the workshop involve: This workshop is both theoretical and practical. The theory component consists of understanding Swara Yoga, the nāḍī flows, moon phases and reading a panchanga moon calendar, theory of the tattwa elements. Practices include identifying the active swara, nāḍī and tattwa element in the breath, trāṭaka steadying gazing, āsana and prāṇāyāma that influence the nāḍī flow. The workshop will complete with yoga nidrā. Reiki Level 2 covers the inner and advanced teachings for working with paying clients and the knowledge and skills to perform distant/absent healing sessions. You will also learn Reiki Master symbols 1, 2 & 3, which help to strengthen your healing sessions, while the extra teachings and attunement will help you strengthen your connection in channelling the Universal Life Force that is Reiki. Upon completing Level 2 you will be a Certified Reiki Practitioner, however even if you don't plan on becoming a Practitioner, the extended learning in this course will be invaluable to your own self practice. Welcome to Global Caravan Tribal Belly Dance (GCTB) with Titch Haven. We host two styles of dance sessions on Wednesday evenings during school term, upstairs in the Stagelight Studio of New Lyric Theatre on Bourke St. Tribal Grooves is a feminine fitness class where dancers follow the Dance Leader for an hour of sweat-inducing, hip-shaking fun. This session runs at 6:15-7:15 pm. It is followed by a one-hour Technique session, for dancers ready to be taught the steps and cues of GCTB.
