Our boutique dance studio, which is located next to St. Leonards station in the Sydney's Lower North Shore offers many different styles of dance classes for children and adults.
Our model is based around creating performance programmes. What this means for our students is that they are constantly involved in new exciting projects and they get a great exposure to various styles of dance, including modern, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet, and acrobatics. We carefully select powerful and inspirational music and we focus on artistism and expression.
Regardless of your level of proficiency, you will be encouraged to regularly perform on stage as part of our exciting dance concerts. We will guide you in building your confidence from beginner through to professional level. Building on from our success from 2015, we competed at 2016 KAR Regional competition in Sydney. By far, this has been our most successful competition to date. LIKE Dance Studio took home the Top Sydney Studio award and our own Lana Borisova came back with Choreographer of the Year award! We would like to thank all our students for their hard work and for bringing our ideas to life, and thank you to the families and friends for the continued support.
L.I.K.E. Dance Studio is a proud participant at many dance competitions and a winner of a number of prestigious awards. In 2016, we were selected to represent Australia at Kids Artistic Revue US Nationals Finals in Los Angeles and we travelled together with a group of our 7-10 year olds to Los Angeles! It is an unforgettable and highly rewarding opportunity and experience for our young dancers.
We are always on the lookout for talented performers who are prepared for hard work, full dedication and commitment (8+ hours per week in dance, acrobatics, KLT and ballet). As part of our competition groups, you will have the opportunity to perform as soloists, duets, trios, small and large groups in a variety of exciting projects. In 2016 we got 61 awards.
