I have been a reflexologist, massage therapist and aromatherapist for over ten years and have recently added clinical hypnotherapy to the services I offer.
I believe that remedial massage need not cause you further pain! I do not do deep tissue or very firm massages, preferring to use gentler techniques to reduce muscle tightness and avoid further spasms. This is particularly important with long-standing or chronic conditions, or for those feeling stressed or emotionally overloaded.

I specialize in clinical aromatherapy massage and gentle lymphatic drainage massage. Lymphatic massage is particularly useful for assisting detoxification and reducing excess fluid build-up. Weight gain can reduce the effectiveness of the lymphatic system, allowing excess fluid to accumulate in the tissues. Reducing this with lymphatic massage often produces a marked change in body shape. As I am also a qualified Reflexologist, I usually incorporate this to support both the fluid loss and the detoxification process. I have extensive experience with people who have undergone cancer treatment or have other disruptions to the lymphatic system.

While reflexology can be beneficial at all life stages, I am currently expanding my interest in maternity reflexology. This can help with conditions which may occur during pregnancy such as swollen legs and ankles, constipation, backache and stress and anxiety, as well as preparation for the birth itself.

My work in the physical therapies has lead me to get further qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Strategic Psychotherapy to further assist people to improve their lives. The main areas I deal with are Weight management and dietary habits, insomnia and sleeping problems, Stress reduction, motivation issues and quitting smoking.
