"Hi, Im James, and Healing Hearts is my private counselling practice that I started in Jan 2020. I am a qualified and registered counsellor with more than 25-years experience working in various pastoral care, mentoring, and counselling settings with people of all ages and from all walks of life.
My desire in counselling is to listen to and work with my clients to help them achieve the things that are most important to them. To help them get to that place where they will be able to fulfil their true potential in life, and build on their relationships with those around them.
It is my endeavour to provide an environment where couples, or individuals, can move forward holistically to search the deeper questions and issues that may be troubling them. To explore avenues that can lead them to a place of healing and greater success in their life and personal relationships and hopefully discover greater intimacy with those they care about."

Counselling sessions usually run for two hours on a fortnightly or monthly basis, especially for couples counselling. This is based on counselling experience and client feedback. However, shorter sessions are available on request as some clients prefer 1-hourly sessions more frequently, usually this would be for single clients not couples.
While sessions are usually run in Para Vista, home visits are possible on request.
