Running prep tips

Remember the 4 Ps. Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance! Know your limits, have a training plan and ensure you have followed the plan so you know you can make the distance on the day.

You can check out Melbourne running coaches here and Melbourne Personal Trainers here.

Prepare, avoid injury and live longer! Running is great fun and the most efficient way of burning calories. Running injury free is even greater fun. Ensure you train properly for each event and get an opinion from a suitable medical professional if you are unsure. Also running with chest colds and flu is rarely a good thing.

Did you know, when you think you are done, your body is only at 40% of what its capable of. Mind over matter. Know your true capability, keep focussed and set your goals based on these. Running a PB is what the rest f us normally aim for.

The above list of events has been compiled manually from various sources around the web, if you find any errors please let us know. Like us on Facebok to get more monthly updates. Please also check details on the respective race websites before registering and ensure you can safely complete the race distance. Good Luck!
